Find extra money without extra effort!

I hear people tell me all the time that they have no extra money to put away for savings. They say their pay cheque is stretched to its limit from week to week and there is no room to find the extra cash to put away for retirement, a family vacation or even just a night out.

To find the savings you have to be little creative. Life is expensive and the cost of living only seems to be going up. You have to look for opportunities to save every day.

Here is what I recommend.

Use what you’ve got!

We all carry a number of loyalty cards and spend a lot of time and effort beefing up our balances. Why not use this to keep dollars in your wallet. By targeting your shopping and using your loyalty cards you can actually take dollars off your bill and save money immediately. For example, the AIR MILES Cash program feature lets Canadians redeem 95 reward miles instantly for $10 off at the check-out at participating retailers across the country. You can use this feature for gas, home improvement shopping, groceries and pharmacy purchases - places you shop at anyway, so why not save when you get there.

Track your spending

The easiest way to save money is by looking at where you spend the most. The only way to identify this is by writing down everything you buy for a period of time, I recommend a month but even a week would do! By seeing all of your spending in black and white on a piece of paper you can start to analyze easy places to cut back. Have one less cup of coffee a day, buy gifts ahead of time and at end of season sales, and try to drive less. Whatever the case may be for you there is always a place to save some extra cash.

Saving money on a tight budget means you have to get creative. By always shopping with a list, clipping coupons and targeting your shopping at stores that have the items you buy regularly on sale, you can save a lot of money to spend however you want.

  2. (It is also possible that Zynga's chosen advertising network is to blame if we consider
the case of the New York Times' website which suffered
similarly in 2009). The popular epub format is written in XHTML,
which is nothing but an advanced version of HTML. Gone are the days when the evening, go out Night Weekend and hard rock festivals
organized a burst of freshness and energy, which allows
people to face the Blues on Monday, with confidence and determination.
