Referendum: The Greek Tragedy

This week the Greek Government announced it will have a referendum on a bailout plan that was proposed by Germany last week. If Greeks vote "No" and reject the bailout bill, which includes new stricter austerity measures in exchange for half the countries debt being written off, it could mean the end of Greece as we know it. No one can make sense of the referendum and what the Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou is thinking.  European leaders are furious as it puts the European Union in peril once again and markets are sliding on the news. I had the honour of speaking to Jerry Agar on NEWSTALK 1010. Here is my reaction to what is now being called "The Greek Tragedy."
